Chinese New Year celebration

Sunday 26 January, 2pm at Elvet Methodist Church.
A chance to celebrate with our friends from Durham's Chinese Church. The service will be at 2pm, followed by Chinese snacks.



Bible Month 2020 event

Saturday 1 February, 10am-4pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Middlesbrough.
Bible Month 2020 focuses on the book of Ruth. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Rachel Starr, Methodist Tutor in Biblical Studies at Queens as our keynote speaker. Rachel will also be running a more in-depth Bible study on Ruth. Workshops include using Ruth in an intergenerational setting, Messy Church, preaching and facilitating small groups. Meeting for Prayers

Monday 3 February, 7-8:30pm at North Road.
Exactly what it says on the tin. A chance to meet and pray with others, using a variety of styles. All very welcome. This gathering takes place on the first Monday of the month in the cottage at the back of the church, accessed through the car park.



Coffee Morning

Saturday 8 February, 10:30am-12:30pm at North Road.
Our monthly coffee mornings are a chance to meet with others, take a break from your Saturday shopping and help us raise money for
church funds and our work in the community.



'Minister Noodles'

Saturday 8 February, 11am-3pm at Elvet Methodist Church.
This is a fundraising event for the window refurbishment at Elvet Church. There will be pre-loved houseware, clothes and handbags on sale, plus traditional Chinese crafts and decorations. No, we are not making noodles out of ministers, but the Minister will make fried noodles (£5/portion) to eat-in or take away.

This year's 3Generate Youth Assembly is set to be the biggest ever, and will be held at the NEC in Birmingham. 3Generate is an action-packed and inspiring weekend, primarily designed to hear the voice of children and young people across the Methodist Church.
